This week you have been learning to enjoy having your nappy changed! You like being nappy free and kicking your legs like crazy.

Your Nana and Poppy arrived all the way from Australia to visit you.  They are very excited to meet you!

Bonnie at Five Weeks Old (One Month)

This week we have been learning to SMILE!

We also ended up back in hospital overnight as you lost weight despite Mama trying so hard to breast feed!  All the tests say you're fine, but we have to supplement with formula while Mama builds up her milk supply. You seem more settled with the formula which is a relief to Mama and Dadda!

Bonnie at Two to Four Weeks Old

Mama has been hoping to update this blog once a week but the first few weeks mainly consisted of struggling to breast feed - visiting the hospital, clinics and specialists galore.  A tongue-tie and small mouth meant that you can't latch on without causing mama excruciating pain.  So we have been working hard to make it work and are proud to say that we're hanging in there.  This has taken most of our time and energy but we still managed a couple of visits from family and friends, and lots of sleep for you (not for mama unfortunately!)

We also had a first go on your playmat!
